Schedule a free 15 minute consultation phone call with a Thrive therapist. You can ask questions you may have and share what you are looking to gain from therapy. It can be very helpful to get a sense of what a therapist is like before your first session.
After scheduling your first session, you will receive a warm welcome email that will lay out all the information you need. You will receive paperwork you can complete before attending your first session so we can dive right into getting to know you during your first session.
Once your therapist gets to know you, they will give their professional opinion on some areas that could be addressed together in order to reduce your concerns regarding your mental health. You can formulate goals together and determine specific ways the therapist can assist you in meeting your goals.
Therapists will continue to meet with you as needed to continue to help you. Therapists will prepare for each session in order to use the time most effectively. This could include providing you helpful articles or handouts that will assist you in applying coping strategies outside of the therapy room.
